Objectif Instinct

Originally from Lyon, Jessim Ferraro has always been passionate about two things: sports and mathematics.

It is therefore quite natural that he studied in the field of sport until obtaining his license (Bac +3), in parallel with a State diploma as a sports educator in Football. This qualification allowed him to practice as a football educator for 17 years, including 5 with the professional club Olympique Lyonnais.

Professionally, after some experience in National Education, Jessim Ferraro was recruited as a contract teacher in mathematics by the rectorate of Lyon and practiced for 4 school years before ceasing this activity to join the club of OL full time for a position with educational missions. Nevertheless, he kept this as a complementary activity, his accompaniment in private lessons of mathematics with pupils in school difficulties by joining in particular the structures of Complétude and Acadomia.

In parallel with his studies and his professional activity, Jessim had the chance to visit several countries and got into the habit of making small photographic reports with his smartphone to immortalize his stays. When he presents this to his loved ones, the feedback is unanimous: he clearly has a talent for photography and he should perhaps think about doing more.

Then comes confinement, in March 2020, when Jessim Ferraro chooses to learn and train himself on more efficient equipment. He also takes the opportunity to equip himself and launches into the deep end at the end of this period. At first, he photographed the family events of his loved ones then thanks to word of mouth, new projects were offered to him and this is how he officially decided to professionalize himself by creating Objectif Instinct, the 1st January 2023 after having validated an online training with the "Créacours" organization.

The pleasure of photographing became a passion and finally his job. Jessim is really driven by capturing emotions to immortalize the most beautiful moments of the events he covers.

Jessim Ferraro specializes in sports photography, covering around a hundred amateur and professional matches and tournaments (football, futsal, basketball, tennis and padel). In addition, he also offers the capture of family events such as birthdays, weddings, gender reveal or pregnancy shootings.

His clients highlight his professionalism, his responsiveness, his sociability, but also his discretion and his ability to immortalize the emotions experienced without disturbing the course of the event. This photographer knows how to blend in with the background and takes the time to understand the client's wishes, in order to best respond to his request.
