Self-taught photographic author, JIB PETER began his career by taking his photographs on the road through exhibitions, festivals, and editorial publications, mainly in France but also internationally.
His approach is simple and instinctive: listen, observe, and let chance do the rest. A detail, an ordinary scene, a light — beauty appears — he takes the photo. The visual story unfolds.
Passionate about cinema, music, and film photography — his first medium — it naturally nurtured his sense of staging. His eye sharpened over time. Indeed, film photography taught him precision in framing and light. When every shutter release counts, reflection becomes second nature.
