Curious and driven by emotion, Carole BIRARD has been inspired for over 25 years by the worlds of circus, theater, concerts, opera, and creative workshops. She thrives on sensations—laughing, dancing, sharing, and feeling deeply.
Highly sensitive to visual and photographic language, she strives to understand, convey, and tell stories through her images.
Organized, versatile, and efficient, she enjoys being in action and aims for excellence in every project she undertakes.
She has developed strong expertise in photography, lighting, framing, color, graphic design, movement, and video editing.
Her experience spans artistic direction, production, shooting, and post-production.
Carole works across a wide range of environments: luxury brands, press, studio settings, and with people from all backgrounds—artists, designers, business owners, gallery owners, and private clients. Her work extends beyond France to international projects in Russia, Italy, Germany, the UK, Switzerland, and the United States.
Trained with a BTS in photography and at the prestigious Studio Harcourt, she has notably photographed artist Julien Doré and the Swedish CEO of Hasselblad.
Deeply involved in the performing arts, she collaborates with professionals from circus, music, commedia dell’arte, theater, and dance. She has created promotional visuals, portraits, exhibitions, posters, booklets, flyers, CD covers, and artistic series.
Her curiosity has led her to work in press photography, corporate photography, reportage, and portraiture.
Constantly exploring new perspectives, Carole has held several exhibitions in Paris and internationally (Italy, the UK, the United States), and has received multiple artistic awards.
Both technical and creative, she has also contributed to advertising and communication for luxury brands and emerging designers, working in fields such as fashion, design, jewelry, beauty, and e-commerce.
Passionate about photography in all its forms, she has also dedicated over five years to teaching through workshops and classes for adults, teenagers, and children. She even developed her own teaching method and trained instructors.
