A certified photographer and photo-therapist, Lucie Ngo embodies a unique journey, shaped by both solid experience in the creative world and a profound artistic sensitivity. Before devoting herself fully to photography, she spent over fifteen years working in marketing and project development, supporting inspiring brands. This path, imbued with strategy and aesthetics, strengthened her eye for detail, harmony, and coherence — qualities she now infuses into her images.

Her relationship with photography began in childhood, tinged with mystery and poetry. An album of her childhood photographs that disappeared forever… then years later, her portrait appearing in a jeweler’s shop window. For her, photography became a secret language, carrying invisible stories. She recalls the colorful cameras of her youth, the travels where she captured precious moments. Gradually, faces disappeared from her images, giving way to colors, textures, light play, and subtle details.

In 2011, while expecting her first child, she enrolled at the Brussels School of Photography. Inspired by artists such as Sally Mann and Vivian Maier, she developed a passion for the stolen moment, raw emotion, and the embrace of imperfection.

In 2019, the discovery of Photo-therapy marked a turning point. She realized that photography could be far more than an image: it could be a tool for liberation and transformation, a benevolent mirror helping people to see themselves differently. From this encounter was born LUCIAME and the evidence of Emotional Photography.

Her style is defined by soft, enveloping light, breathing compositions, and a gaze that captures essence rather than surface. She does not aim to freeze a perfect moment but to reveal what resonates: a suspended gesture, an intense look, a fleeting smile. Blending intuition and sensitivity, she leaves room for spontaneity.
