Behind the camera, I’m Justine Lorchel.
Passionate about visual storytelling, creativity and everything that makes it possible to tell a story without relying solely on words, Justine initially chose to study communications. This training allowed her to develop her creativity, but above all to master the various tools used to create content: photography, video, graphic design, strategy and storytelling.
For five years, Justine Lorchel then worked in communications for several football clubs in the Lyon area, first as a Communications Officer and later as a Communications Manager. It was a particularly dynamic environment where no two days were ever the same and where you had to be everywhere at once: preparing for a match, creating content, taking photographs, filming, managing social media, promoting partners… and above all, adapting!
This experience taught her how to tell stories through images, capture emotions and showcase people, events and projects, often in situations where very little is under your control. And then there’s that famous sentence everyone in the business world knows all too well: “When do you need this by?” — “Yesterday.”
So, needless to say, the unexpected doesn’t really scare me!
About a year ago, Justine decided to take this passion to the next level by developing her own business and officially becoming self-employed. This new chapter now allows her to put her experience, creativity and unique perspective at the service of a wide variety of projects.
Weddings, christenings, birthdays, corporate events, events, pregnancy, sports, product photography or content creation for businesses… What Justine enjoys most is photographing what makes you, you.
She isn’t simply looking to take a “pretty picture”. What matters to her is the story it tells: an exchanged glance, a spontaneous laugh, an emotion, a movement, a detail, an atmosphere or that little moment you may not pay much attention to at the time, but will be so happy to rediscover years later.
Because Justine believes that the most beautiful images are not always the perfectly posed ones. They are often the ones that instantly take us back to a particular moment, person or feeling.
Her goal? To create natural, genuine and lively images that reflect who you are and allow you to relive those moments time and time again.
