From his childhood, Philippe was fascinated by the famous novel The Little Prince. He remembers an anecdote which testifies to the profound impact of this work on his perception of the world. As a child, he thought that Saint-Exupéry's character lived in his own street, because it bore his name. This early connection with the power of imagination left an indelible imprint on Philippe's mind, fueling his passion for art and photography.

Originally from Montargis, Philippe discovered his passion for photography at the age of 10 when he participated in a darkroom photo workshop. It was there that he developed his first photos, capturing matchstick models with boundless curiosity. These humble beginnings were the beginnings of his love for architectural photography, which would develop over the years.

After leaving his hometown, Philippe Sheraf continued his studies in Scotland, where he lived in a picturesque mansion worthy of teenage fiction. It was there that he began exploring instant photography, capturing fleeting moments in mysterious fog or dim light. His talent quickly attracted attention and two of his photos won awards at the prestigious Black and white Spider Awards in Los Angeles in 2020.

Passionate about planes and architecture, Philippe followed his passion and developed a captivating series that combines these two worlds. Inspired by the iconic figure of the aviator Saint-Exupéry, he sought to capture the beauty and elegance of airplanes and architectural buildings. His aerial photographs offer a unique look at cities, revealing a reality that is often overlooked.

However, Philippe does not just capture images, he also creates immersive experiences through augmented reality. His project supported by Olo Art was presented during an exhibition at Montpellier airport in October 2022. It invites spectators to discover unusual photographs and immerse themselves in a world where art and technology meet.
