For over 30 years, Nicolas BRUNEL has been practicing photography, and for nearly 25 years he has been photographing weddings in Northern France (Nord–Pas-de-Calais) and Belgium.
Nicolas BRUNEL studied graphic arts at Saint-Luc Tournai, where he learned drawing, photography, and graphic design. Since then, he has always kept his Nikon camera close at hand.
Very early on, he discovered a deep passion for wedding photography: capturing the atmosphere, the looks, and the expressions of guests, friends, and newlyweds. He enjoys being present without truly being noticed — observing everything that happens while remaining discreet, almost invisible. It is in these moments that the most authentic images are created: photographs that truly reflect your day, your expressions, your reactions. Images captured naturally, in the moment.
It requires observation and constant readiness: choosing the right lens, having the settings prepared (aperture, shutter speed, white balance), remaining discreet, and capturing the moment without interrupting it.
With over 25 years of experience in wedding photography, Nicolas BRUNEL is not there to tell you what to do — he is there to accompany you. Every wedding is different, and above all, it is your wedding.
He follows you throughout the entire day, capturing everything that unfolds. He pays as much attention to the couple as to their guests. For him, a wedding cannot be reduced to 300 or 400 images. He strives to faithfully convey everything that happens through photography.
Light, colors, and contrast are carefully refined during post-production (after image selection). Panoramic images are created by assembling multiple photographs using dedicated software. (Some of these panoramas are printed and delivered with the USB drive.)
The 64GB USB drive includes all photographs taken during the day, delivered in chronological order. All images are provided with full usage rights. The USB drive includes:
- black-and-white photographs
- color photographs
- cropped images
- and the folder file
On average, for a full wedding day, Nicolas BRUNEL delivers around 1,500 fully edited photographs.
For one day, he becomes your eyes. His goal is to tell the complete story of your wedding day, from his arrival to his departure, through images. If weather conditions allow, he may also take drone photographs.
