Amplitude-Photo was founded in Occitanie following several requests from architects looking to document and showcase their construction projects.
After visiting job sites, Jean-Pierre GUERIN decided to create his own company in order to collaborate professionally with them.
The name Amplitude-Photo comes from these two words: “Amplitude”, because Jean-Pierre GUERIN gradually equipped himself with the right tools and now works with multiple cameras; and “Photo”, because the original purpose of his approach is rooted in this simple word.
The company specializes in:
- maternity photography,
- newborns,
- families,
- animals,
- and architecture.
In 2020, Jean-Pierre GUERIN had to reinvent his future following an accident that left him with disabilities affecting his hip and right arm. He first trained in digital tools, particularly computer science, coding, website creation, and blogging. He then specialized in social media and video creation, which became a key driver in moving his career forward.
Since September 2025, following a call from the French Football League and the company managing PANINI albums, Amplitude-Photo relocated from Occitanie to the Côtes-d’Armor. Jean-Pierre has since become the official football league photographer for the Côtes-d’Armor region.
Today, Amplitude-Photo is based in a small tourist village between Saint-Brieuc and Guingamp: Châtelaudren-Plouagat.
For several months now, Jean-Pierre has been living the van life, allowing him to travel anywhere in France depending on contracts and assignments.
