It all began at the film school in Montpellier, where Dimitri ARNAUD discovered his passion for photography. Since then, he has continued to train as a self-taught photographer, convinced that real-life experience remains the best school of all.
His first experiences included dance performances, portraits of friends, and various photo shoots that allowed him to discover and refine his personal style. It was only natural that he then turned toward wedding photography, portrait sessions, and baptisms—life moments filled with emotion that he is passionate about capturing with authenticity.
What defines him as a photographer is his constant search for naturalness.
He does not believe in stiff poses or forced smiles. Instead, he enjoys saying the right word at the right moment to spark genuine laughter or a sincere reaction—moments he quickly captures through his lens.
His approach is above all documentary-style photography: discreet, attentive, and always present at the right moment. Posed photos of course have their place, but the most beautiful memories are often found in candid moments.
He often hears people say, “I’m not photogenic” or “I don’t know how to pose.” His role is precisely to prove them wrong. By helping people feel comfortable and creating a relaxed atmosphere, he brings out what makes them unique. Because beauty is not about angles—it is about confidence.
